Eeyore

Its the beginning of the end the temperature has dropped and today it looked like rain, no more fresh sunny mornings, no more football on Sundays its all gloom and doom from here on.

Jumpers.

I went on an excursion to the ancient village of Suzdal on Saturday. I enjoyed the bus trip it took several hours to get there and back. It was my first trip out of the city. It gets colder away from the smog. The town itself is very small though houses 14 churches and a monestary. It was quite a bizarre trip, made more so by the language barrier (it was all in Russian - of course) and it was quite commercialised, everywhere we stoped - a viewing point in the middle of nowhere, or a toilet stop carpark, or where ever there was always stalls of the same tourist tat made in China. But really weird things like wooden bells? There was this crazy guy in a tower near the monastry and his magic power was bell ringing. He was a one-man-band disguesed as a bell ringer. he rang 16 bells. Really big ones and small ones all in this tower. He had to do it with his hands and feet. From the ground he looked like a puppet. dancing. and making a terrible noise.
But the tour guide was so proud of him.
