Spring

Technically the first day of spring is the first of March Straight after pancake week has finished (yeah a whole week of pancakes - classy huh?) however, thats pushing it a bit because its still very difficult to see the other side of the street due to being shoulder high in snow. Now that May is in sights it is definitely spring. the snow has been carted away to a big snow compound where its kept till next year and now everything is being painted. Last week everyday of the week was a different colour - Monday blue things got painted, Tuesday green things, Wednesday yellow things - you get the picture. EVERYTHING gets painted. Saturday they painted the front doors to our row of flats and Saturday night i wasn't locked out but painted out. The door was stuck fast. i thought i'd become really weak...

Unfortunately i have to go and write about Peter the great - why was he so great?

bye

Comments:
helena,
peter "the great" is a misreading of peter vergrit. vergrit is a common russian surname. he was the son of catherine vergrit (also misknown as catherine the great) and alexander (ditto).
troughout school he was a B grade student and he certainly never excelled at sports. however, he won a badge for being the most reliable child when it came to feeding the gerbil. the gerbil was a siberian gerbil named abigail, she had 11 children but ate most of them. little else is known about either peter vergrit or abigail the gerbil.
i hope this helps you with your exam.
love tabitha the great.xxxxx
